Alex Turner, the frontman of said Britrock outfit is back with the London Metropolitan Orchestra and Rascals' Miles Kane in the form of The Last Shadow Puppets with the album The Age of The Understatement. The only understatement here is that this is really good stuff.
The video feels like a slight nod in the direction The Beatles "Help!" (the movie, not the song). Which, coincidentally, I've discovered you can stream from Google, beginning to end. I'm watching a movie at my desk while I work. How fun is that?
I think it's a mere coincidence. If Alex Turner was the recipient of a giant Ruby ring from a fan and was targeted as a sacrificial lamb for a kooky cult, then it would be based on Help!
They're delightfully British. I love.
